look harder, mods.dk has a good description for the g models of the 570, dg
and SG, I think that's where I found it anyway. I know I read one somewhere.

speaking of kenwood mods, has anyone who is a total been successful in =
opening up the kenwood ts570?
Acording to the mods ive seen it is a single resister that has to be =
removed to open up transmit from 300khz to 30MHZ.
Of course, no easy discriptions are given to locate this resister like =
with the tm v7A.
