I can't help you with your specific query but one thing I'll share with you,
anytime you mess up your Kenwood beyond the point of return, turn the set
off, press your vfo and the off button to reset your vfo and you'll be back
to the beginning. You'll probably need to turn your mike back on. setting
the vfo to default is a good way to square off anytime you get lost. Va3kky.
