Hi Jim,
I know that ginger is supposed to be "stimulating and energizing" so I
could see how it might keep one awake. If you do a search on it, you'll
find that some sources say not to have it at bedtime for that reason.
(Maybe I'll try a cup before working out!) It's actually supposed to
be "warming" too, but I couldn't understand why the sweats happened to me
several hours AFTER ingesting it.
I do take strong systemic enzymes before bed too so maybe they helped shoot
that ginger through my system and made it extra effective or something.
