The V7A can to crossband repeat and can monitor 2 bands at once, the G707 is
only 1 band at a time though I scan with mine, and the speech chip says more
in the G707A. I'd take either one, some times I wish I could monitor 2 bands
at once but if I want to do that I usually just use another radio. Some time
I'll get the TS-2000 and just use that for everything more then likely,
unless I change my mind.
