I second the plug for Tiny Talk.  I use it in Dos and even have a
bootable floppy with Tiny Talk on it that allows me to do an un-attended
install of Windows, which is handy.  I no-longer have to waited for a
sighted person to come over if I need to wipe the operating system, and
start over.  As far as running old Dos apps in a dos box, I tried, just
for the hell of it, running a little dos game in a dos box in windows
2000, and I was surprised that it even worked at all, but it did!  The
sounds did not work, that is I heard nothing from the PC Speaker, but it
talked, using eliquents, but it was slow.  the game was mars.exe, if any
of you remember that one.

By the way, I have finally gotten a new DSL modem from Qwest, and can now
configure my ports, which means, that my echo link node, 91232, can be up
full time.  I currently have my conferencing set to five users, so feel
