I think you're right, Louis.  One of the most flagrant examples of mega
corporations ruining a very influential high power station was when Urban
Broadcasting purchased WOWO in Fort Wayne for the expressed purpose of
powering it down and changing its direction pattern just so its New York
owned station on the same frequency could obtain full time status.  Because
it is a minority owned company the FCC allowed what was a clear conflict of
interest.  73.
