A friend with an avid interest in senior citizens asked me to help her
develop a plan to encourage senior citizens to try computers, and to
develop the follow-up training for them. One of the things she has observed
is the reluctance by many people who used manual typewriters for years to
switch to a smoother keyboard. I mentioned the software programs that will
make a keytap *sound* like an old typewriter, but we're also looking for a
keyboard that will *feel* like one too. A lot of the men we are working
with have what I call "farmer fingers" -- larger fingers and callouses from
years of heavy duty working with their hands. Any suggestions or leads?

And, of course, the only software I can remember for the key sound is
"Tappy Keys" for the Mac. Any thoughts for a PC version?

Thank you!
