I am looking for feedback on this combination of SCSI controller and
CD-R and/or CD-ROM drives. I am also looking for general feedback on
Teac drives. Good/bad/middle of the road? Service/Support issues?

On a related note, one other 4X/12X CD-R I was interested in was
the Plextor 4/12, which seems to be out of stock everywhere while the
Teac seems to be available. Is this an indication of perceived
quality of the two drives (which seem very similar in specs) or just
an aberation of supply & demand?

Any and all comments and opinions on these drives is appreciated.
