I think Jesus had a great sense of humor.  I often think about the passage
where he asked the disciples (concerning John the Baptist) "What did you go
out into the wilderness to see?  A reed shaken by the wind?"  The question
is so absurd that if you think about it, and imagine all the people going
out into the wilderness to see a reed shaken by the wind, you just have to
laugh, or at least smile!  I think that was Jesus' humorous way of saying,
"Come on, guys, you and I both know why you went out and what you found!",
but said in a humorous way, perhaps to keep people from feeling too defensive.
