No, there is on drive letter associated with the partition.  It is a Dell 4550, so the small partion may be thier tools.  Due to some other gremlins that are present (IE becomes non responsive after 1-2 hours of inactivity) as well as this goofy scenario, I am going to totally reformat the drive and go with a fresh instal.  Thanks for your help.
