I was recently made aware of a new guide prepared by the Center for
Disability Issues and the Health Profession
It's called "Emergency Evacuation Preparedness: Taking Responsibility for
Your Safety--A Guide for People with Disabilities and Other Activity
Limitations." The guide is free and can be downloaded from
