Hi,

Radio Shack is not perfect, and we must all remember that "buyer be ware".
I have still had a pretty good experience with Radio Shack. Currently, I
own a dx440, a dx398, a pro96 scanner, and I just bought some antenna
hardware from them today. There battery prices are high unless you can
catch them on sale, but again, buyer be ware.

I've bought several shortwave receivers, police scanners from RS and had
good luck.
