P.S. Bob I forgot to mention that while I don't know what might be
available in Las Angeles, there is a large store specializing in amateur
radio equipment called Ham Radio (H.R.O.) located in neighboring Anaheim
California. They have several stores in other cities, but that is most
likely the one closest to you unless a local person knows of another outlet.
You can call H.R.O. Anaheim toll free at:
1-800-854-6046. Their employees are knowledgeable since to work there a
person must be a ham. 73.
