Hi All,
I just heard a net thing on a local system here concerning QRP. Apparently
Elecraft has some radios which people bought, started to assemble and then
gave up on. They are selling these very reasonably finished and tested. If
you are interested in QRP, it might be a reasonable way to get into it.
Take care and very 73.
Kevin :)

I've been saving up for one also, and am getting closer.
I'll have to figure out what to do instead. I really want a radio I can
carry away with me and operate from the beach or the park. The weather's
nice enough year round to do this.

No reason that I know of though if you read the reviews, I guess some did
have problems, not all and honestly, percentagewise I don't think it's as
many as it looks, but there were some issues with them and I don't know if
that has anything to do with them, if they weren't selling, or what. It's
too bad, hopefully they try again in the not too distant future because for
the price, they were a great idea. I'm still considering getting one today
though I"m leaning more on the 706 side and waiting a little since I really
don't want to spend that much money right now.
