Assuming you haven't done anything drastic, the fix is easy.
Open IE, Go to View/Toolbars, place a checkmark by "Address Bar".
Also, I have seen cases where the Address bar has been reduced to just a
sliver-look for a moveable vertical bar and drag it wider.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Address Bar has disappeared

A few days ago my Internet Explorer Address Bar disappeared and,
unfortunately, I don't recall what I did to cause this. I'm using
Windows Me and Internet Explorer version 6.00. So I can no longer access
the WWW, even though I can still get on the Internet using the various
search engines, etc. - just cannot type in an URL.

Even my ISP Help Desk is puzzled.

Suggestions will be appreciated.

Lewis Emerson
