I'm fairly new to this, so I need input from the folks who have been
living with gluten intolerance/celiac for a while. My question is: why
have a biopsy? If it comes back negative but you feel better off gluten,
you would probably choose to stay off gluten. If it comes back positive,
the only thing to do is stay off gluten. So why put yourself through an
expensive, invasive, somewhat uncomfortable test if the bottom line is
going to be the same treatment? Maybe there are other ramifications that
I'm not aware of. Thanks for any information.
Leslie
