While discussing food that is mentioned in the bible could be considered on
topic, the problem with bringing any mention of religion onto this list is
after a while the discussion moves off-topic. There is to be no discussion
of politics on this list. There are numerous other places, like the talk.*
hierarchy on Usenet, where politics and religion can be discussed.
