Hi Jerry;

When you press the function (A) key, the key beside the number 3, that puts
you in the memory write mode.

Channel 0 will beep and you can count the number of channels from there.

To a certain extent you should be able to figure things out if you have the
manual, and the other files.  You will not find a easier radio to use.
