Walt, you don't need to get into the sub-band. If you hit a vfo freq in the
2-mater band, it will automatically put your main receiver on that band. If
you want to use the sub receiver, you could. Offhand, I can't remember the
button you need to press to switch the VFO to the sub-receiver, but the right
button on the cursor diamond is the sub button. The lower righthand knob is
the squelch and AF gain for the sub-receiver, and you push the knob in to turn
on/off the sub-receiver.

Hi Lowell,
My problem is that I haven't figured out how to get into the sub band. I
thought it was the right arrow or right key in the diamond. which ever it
is, I didn't understand which. Can someone straighten me out? Thanks and
73.
