I have 2 friends that have them and like them, they can't say from an
accessibility stand point how they are though they say it is a lot like the
TS-2000 just a little smaller is about the only real difference they say, it
takes a different voice module though just to let you know, if you have a
VS-3 it won't take that it takes a new one DVS-1 I think? recorder/voice
readout module in 1. My TS-940 seems to be losing drive lately so I've been
looking at newer radios too, most likely, like most of my family, if
something goes wrong in the 940 I'll fix it and sell it like my family does
with all major things, I don't know why but we do so I've been looking at
potential replacements and that's not out of the question though I'd wait a
few months until the price comes down a little because it will.

Subject: THE KENWOOD 480!!!

| Hi Everyone;
|
| Does anyone have any experience with the new KENWOOD 480?
|
| I understand it was designed by the same individual who designed the
| TS-2000.
|
| I'm thinking of getting one.
|
| Please, I would appreciate any information.
