Before you get a 440 again! There is a known problem wiht this radio. After
some years may of the diodes in the PLL circuit will go QRT. I have a 440 as
backup for my ts950sd and I have the known error onmy 440 right now.
Ofcourse it can be fiexed but who know when it will fail again? I have heard
about many amateurs having this problem with the 440.
