Make no mistake about it; companies as large as Radio Shack force
manufacturers to build things to their specifications.  This may mean very
cheap.  You don't get the same quality control in the manufacturing of stuff
for say Radio Shack than you do for stuff made for Macies.  Radio shack is
not trying to build a reputation for quality and reliability.  They are
seeking only to be the cheapest game in town and they are failing at that.
they are simply trading on their name.

Well, at least this is my opinion, I may be wrong.
