Hi Phil, this reminds me of what you said and I am not sure whether I read
it from an article or testimony or what but you said something about role
models and I have been thinking of that a lot. Well, today as I stood in
church singing with my worship team I realized that I like to kind of try to
sing like others so I can blend with them. What does this have to do with
role models you ask? Well, hang on I'm getting there. My pastors wife is
the music director and what I would call my role model, well, I realize that
when I have a role model I sometimes put them up on a pedestall and in the
bible that is a no no. Well, today I realized that its ok to have role
models, but in having them we need to realize when we do things are we doing
them because of our role model or because of God? Is it through faith in
God? Or is it because of obedience with our role model or faith in them
verses God?

I hope that made sense.

Lelia
