I did not do well on one meal a day Pre-Paleo. Although I don't try to
follow the caveman plan now, I find that my blood sugar is much more
resistant to fluctuation if I should miss a meal.
I have worked out with weights since '85, but find that on a low-carb
Paleo regime, eating whenever I want, I can maintain more muscle mass
with far less sets. I dropped about 15 pounds off my already fairly
lean body when I started Paleo, but none of it seems to have been
muscle, and in fact I believe I have increased my muscle size in some
areas.
So I'd recommend trying it.
