Well, we are still in Georgia and still looking for a
job.
We've had an interesting week or two, it seems that
the hotel in which we are staying did not want my
guide dog Bowers here.  They said I had broken some
rule about leaving the door unlocked when I was out of
the room, I went a total of thirty feet to some grass.
 We had this big discussion with the manager who
insisted that they did not wish to renew our room for
us because of the rule infraction.
I called GDUi a guide dog users incorporated and
looked at the department of Justice site to see what
the rules of the Americans with Disability act were.
I called an advocacy lawyer.  All these people phoned
the hotel, and after the lawyer called they phoned us
asking to meet with us.  We could renew the rent on
our room if we would agree to keep the rules, namely
to lock the door when out of the room.  They were so
syrupy-nice and they put tape on the card key, I
hadbeen having trouble using it because I couldn't
tell which side to put i the slot of the door.
So, now for the moment, there is peace.  Though every
time I go out, it seems someone from the office is
near by! I have asked for a copy of the rules not
wishing to break another one, but so far have ot
received one.
Ben is still looking for a  job, he has had several
interviews, and even went on second interviews at
several places... but no job yet.
We will be here six weeks come Tuesday!
