I recently purchased a box of quinoa flakes and am not certain what to do
with them. I thought that I might be able to use them like oatmeal for
cookies and other recipes. Before I experiment, I thought I would ask
for advice or recipes. Ideas? (I searched the archives with no success).
On a different note, I was pleasantly surprised by Enjoy Life cinnamon
flavored granola that I bought today at my local Stop and Shop grocery
store. It is tasty, has good texture, has 5 g of fiber per serving and is
fairly low in fat. The downside is that it cost a whopping $5 a box for
maybe 2 1/2 cups. This is made with brown rice flakes which I would like
to find out more about also. Have you used them? For what? Where can I
get them?
Thank you kindly,
Gina in MA
