Hi to all,

Need some advice...my 5 year old has been GF for 2 1/2 years and has had
negative blood tests so I'm pretty sure she's not getting any into her
system but she is still complaining about stomach pains. And she still has
constipation problems. Her activity is high but out of the blue she told
me that her tummy hurts all the time even after going to the bathroom.
Could this be lactose intolerant? Her ped. wants me to give her a laxative
but I don't know if I really want to go there. He seems to think its in her
head since that was her main symptom (besides failure to thrive) and she
could be stuck on the idea its going to hurt when she goes. I have CD too
and have been told repeatedly since childhood that my ailments were in my
head (to include the vomiting...can you hear the bitterness?) I'm reluctant
to admit this is in her head.

Please help...I just want my child to feel good!
Davy
