"NDIS" is an interface layer between the Windows OS and various hardware-
specific network connections. It may be that the network drivers for your
system -- or one of the network components that use them -- has become
corrupt. If you uninstall and reinstall your network adapter, that should
cause Windows to reinstall these other components as well.
