A pipefitter I have for a family member in Iowa... it is like the late
20th century equivalent of a timber framer.
He welds pipe for ethanol refineries and lives in a concrete bunker in
the ground that he built for his family himself.
Black pipe... go to Home Depot on Northern Blvd. and ask them to show
you black pipe. Expect them to show you something else.
When you find it touch it, then you will know something of it.
It is used for gas lines.

Lead pipe is lead.
