Hello,

Just a reminder for the more recent Paleofood members that there is an
alternate Paleo discussion group that is not limited to food issues
(although it is dominated by diet-related discussion, since many
people only read Yahoo discussion groups). Also, people keep calling
this list "Paleodiet" which is the name of a different list:

Paleofood (this list) - Support list for food-related discussions
Paleodiet (another St Johns list) - Technical Paleodiet discussion
Paleolife (Yahoo list) - Discussion of all Paleo-related issues

To learn more about the Paleolife group or join, please visit
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/paleolife

Paleolife is a discussion group for people interested in sharing
knowledge of the paleo diet and lifestyle, as advocated in books like
"The Paleo Diet", "Protein Power LifePlan" and "NeanderThin". This
group is based on the theory that civilization and technology, while
having many benefits, nevertheless have negative effects on the health
of human beings.

The primary focus is on the concept that the advent of agriculture has
been too recent for human physiology to adapt to its products, and the
experience of many people that eating only food available to
Paleolithic Era humans, appears to help many of their health problems.

Discussion may include any topic that is related to the difference
between living today and living in the Paleolithic Era, in terms of
how it affects the physical, mental and spiritual health of human
beings (any religious discussion must have some connection to this
topic).
