Um well... actually it would matter a great deal if you think of you or your
offspring in a broken down system. To find out the mechanism of growth can
help understand future problems. After all, if we live from one meal to the
next only, with no thoughts for the future, we are indeed just a mammal (no
offense to smart mammals here).
Trying to avoid a breakdown of any functioning system could be the smartest
key to survival. Eating Paleo is something we do because we think it's the
smartest survivalstrategy for us. We think/feel/believe that we improve our
health and quality of life. Keeping an eye out for anything that might
threaten our way of living seems to matter a lot to me.
