When I started eating paleo, I gave up dairy completely. But about two
months ago, I started eating yogurt again. I make my own yogurt from a
culture a friend brought from Greece. I've had this culture for 12 years
and I feed it mostly organic milk and cream. I like rich yogurt.
I know it is not paleo but I don't have any negative reactions to dairy.
However, I've stopped losing weight (after a 35 pound drop) and I would
like to drop a few more pounds. Would the yogurt be partly to blame? I
also eat one or two apples and three or four strawberries a day. Some days
I eat an orange or a grapefruit as well, but I stay away from bananas and
dried fruit. I've tried the two days protein and one day carb routine and
don't like it. I consider yams a gateway carb to more dangerous ones. (It
triggers my sweet-tooth and I have to have a chocolate bar that day. And
sugar is really the enemy for me.)
I look forward to reading your responses. Reading the postings is like
going to an AA meeting for me. (Eva, AA is Alcoholics Anonimous.)
