Since I turned 50 a few weeks ago, I am in the process of having a 50,000
mile check up including a physical, mammogram, blood work, colonoscopy.

years, if he had ever seen a patient with parasites.  He said no.>

it is curious as pin worms are very common parasites in humans , i know i
have them at time .

granted, some intestinal parasites are probably too small to be seen by the
scope - but I have always been bothered by this notion that parasites and
cancer are connected and that if people get rid of their parasites they will
protect themselves from cancer.  It seems like the rate of parasites would
be higher in the third world, and I thought that they had a lower cancer
rate than the "civilized world".>

I don't think so  and we might need to ask where this vison of the world
come from ? ( parasites seen are ennemies to get rid of , this war like
language related to other organisms is suspect to me of the projection of an
other disease ( a mind that see itself separated from the rest of creation )
parasites are no more to get us as an ant is parasiting aphids ( they are
collaborating into making life easier to each other . in case you don't know
ants are said to milk aphids ,  raise them and protecting them from
predation by bettles)
there is allways  mutual benefit in any relationships ( like a cougar making
deer healthy)
the secret is to find our place in the scheme of things without trespassing
on our role and responsability.
and cancer is obviouslly a product of our trespassings ( it is funny to me
that in French trepasser is synonym with dying )
