Sister Jabou,
What any leftist activist would say is that the situation is revolutionary and calls for revolutionary action but there is no revolutionary party to carry it out. But if Lang Conteh is busted and Baba Jobe is under siege, and Yanks is looking for a lifeline, what is the King himself saying? Who gave the orders to get Lang busted? Sounds to me like in their this grand "game", they are now getting into the musical chairs division. But who is the referee?
