Ray, I sent my first reply to you direct and meant to send it to the list.
I'll try again...
It's been a while since I did this but try this. There are three
different resets, the VFO reset is the one you want I think. There is also
a memory channel reset and a PM memory reset.
All these resets begin with the power off.
VFO reset - While holding down the VFO key, power up the rig, release the
vfo key and press it again to confirm.
Memory channel reset - While holding the memory key, power up, release the
mem key and press again to confirm
PM reset - You get the idea
If I remember correctly, the vfo reset only resets the vfo's and the menu
settings, the memory reset will clear all the memory channels.
