I actually have one work related site that I can't turn those security
settings up or a whole bunch of features on the site quit working. Been
there, done that, and had to set everything back. Unfortunately, it is the
site where all adaptive technology purchases for NY State are made, so it
is pretty mission-critical for my job. So, I have to protect the system as
well as I can without locking down the Internet Explorer security settings
too tight. Maybe, the idea is to have one machine that has Windows,
Internet Explorer, a screen reader, and an e-mail program and the rest of
my stuff is off on another machine and never the two shall meet. Then, if
the old crappy Internet computer gets zapped, I wipe it out and start over.
