Ashley,
My breakfast just about every day is 1/2 large avocado, some type of
protein, coconut oil, and some salsa. Avocadoes are awesome - they are
smooth, creamy, and rich and sometimes have somewhat of a nutty flavor. If I
could eat mayonnaise (I'm allergic to eggs) I would put mayo on them.
Guacamole is awesome, too.
One medium sized avocado has about 1 med Avocado whole, peeled and pitted
(California or Haas) 18 grams of carbs and roughly 12 grams of those are
fiber, and 276 calories, 25 grams of fat, and 5 grams of protein. According
to the GI index on the link below they have a low glycemic index.
