Hi Larry,

We have a VersaPoint embosser too, which I have not used in a while. When we
last had a need for tech support we got it through Blazie/Freedom
Scientific. Their phone number is 1-727-803-8600. We use Duxbury's DBT as
the translator (www.duxburysystems.com). Hope that helps you out.

Tracy

Found this link with info from duxbury:

http://www.duxburysystems.com/mega/html/intguide.htm

scrolling down that page is a section regarding the VersaBraille and
Versabraille II. It then refers tech support questions to Blazie and has
the current www.freedomscientific.com URL, so I'd guess that it is a
fairly current reference.

And the bottom of this page lists someone who does repair work on
VersaBraille systems so perhaps he'd be a good resource for use with a
newer PC:

put material in Braille. The embosser was driven by a Macintosh for a long
time, but the office has upgraded to a PC. Now they don't have the right
software drivers for the VersaBraille, and no company supports the embosser
anymore. Can anyone give me help in locating PC software drivers for the
VersaBraille?
