I am looking to purchase some new or refurbished projectors for the school I work in.  In looking some over I have found three questions that I have.

1.  Do Lumens matter?  If so, how?

2.  Is there any significance to ANSI Lumens?

3.  Most projectors are listed as SVGA, but a few are XGA.  I assume XGA is a more advanced offering, but what is the difference, if any?
