Our condolence to Satang's family, the Gambian feminist movement and all
those at SIMMA vocational. We pray that Allah grant her a very peaceful
Jannah. That Allah grant us the energy to continue her good work.
In addition to her many works, a year ago Satang volunteered to help
organize GESO Gambia.
Our prayer to the entire family.

Fellow Gambians and friends
I am deeply saddened to report the passing of my dearest sister in the
struggle, Satang Jobarteh. She has been ill for a while. God does take
back his creation. I had prayed for her recovery every day, but God had
other plans.
