Matt,
I know that I need to pray for God's will, but I have to admit that it's
hard to keep from giving Him advice from time to time as well.   (GRIN!)
Silly me, I know.

As far as how we start conversations with the kids when we are discipling
them, yes, we start along those lines.  In fact, with Chris yesterday we
started by explaining to him that the thing that was most important to
us, through all this is having a restored relationship with him.  It's
the brokenness in the relationship that hurts the worst.  Chris knows
that we love him.  I know that he loves us too.  That is obvious in the
fact that he wanted a hug from both of us after the house had cleared.  A
sixteen year old who still wants hugs from his parents can't be all bad.
He just likes pushing the boundries really hard!

As far as familiars are concerned, and Phil can say a lot more about this
than me, so I won't say much, but they are real, and they are one of
Satan's tools.  They aren't just play or cute little fuzzies or guardian
angels as is commonly thought and they should be avoided.  This is really
more Phil's area though, I just know that they are dangerous.
