Vicki, has it been decided whether or not to study Proverbs?  Or shall we
each share what some of them have meant to us?

Until I receive you reply, here is one that has amused me.  Several years
ago, I was attending an early morning prayer meeting at 6 a.m.  We met at
the church and went into a room suited for the meeting.  Many times about
ten of us would arrive at the church at the same time.  There was one
brother who always talked very loudly, which was okay most of the
time.  But when he yelled his good morning greetings at us at 6 a.m., it
used to bother me, probably because he was waking me up and I wasn't ready
yet.  l o l

Anyway, I happened across a Proverb that I shared with him one morning, not
that it changed his loudness, but was fun sharing it with him.

Proverbs 27:14  He who greets his fellow loudly early in the morning
                          Shall have it reckoned to him as a curse.

He just laughed at it, and went on his way.

There are other Proverbs that are quite humorous, too, and some that have
been a source of strength and comfort.
