i think that he makes a very wise point here... This is why personally, I
would, gosh I'm debating so hard if i should say this on list... I don't
want there to be any little ones around that can hear your speech, or may
could get to this mail... OK: Look, I'm gonna put this not from a
perspective of Santa is real, or Santa isn't real: That's not fair... I
will only say this... he's right. You turn around the letters, and you'll
get Saten. S, A, t, A, n.
The point that I am making is I would be extremely careful. (I personally,
would never! teach the philosiphy of Santa Clause, or as I call 'em: Satan
Clause) to my child... Granted, I find and again: this isn't a fact, it's
only an opinion. I find that personally me? I, again, this is just me: do
not believe in him... Yes, I was deceived bigtime at a young age, like most
of us were, or are... but the truth is: that yes, it is so true: i'd
Encourage any of yall to do some research. Find out exactly What Saint
Nicolous really did... Do you know? Basicly: for the children who were
not fortunately enough to have certain things they needed, now, I'm not
talking toys, here: I'm talking escentials. food, water, clothes, uh,
warmth, a friend, um, toilatries for the babies, etc... he would get them
and deliver them to all the kids in his area on Christmas morning. he never
wore a red suit, never had a beard, well,at least not a shaggy one... never
said ho ho ho, or anything... The point is, that he was a very good Saint,
yes, but he didn't work at the north poll or anything... I think that a lot
of us today mayyyyyjerly forget the real meaning of Christmas because of all
the Christmas songs, like roodolf or, maybe Frosty the snowman etc. And
personally, it's just again: my opinion, and none more, none less: I feel
like personally, that if he knew what was going on today with the whole
Santa Clause thing: he'd roll over in his grave... Again, I sincerely do
not mean or wish to offend anyone in this mail, however, I think we all
really need to step back for just a moment or two and say hey: now wait a
minute here: This is causing my children to get up at all hrs of the
night... come on.... don't be embarrassingly shy... admit it... They do
don't they... I know I did... They are so excited about seeing what they
have gotten, that it never even hits their mind, this isn't for receiving.
This is for the birth of my savior, and a season for giving, not
receiving... I'm not saying that receiving isn't a good thing: heck: how
could we have giving, without some form of receiving on the other behalf...
point is though: the Inphesis should not be on what am I getting this
year... it should be more on, OK, i know i'm getting some things this year,
yes, but I really first would like to spend time with the ones I love, and
say a prayer thanking God for his Son, before I even start the food, or
presents etc... just my opinion. now Phil? You can hate me for writing
that, and Vickie you can ban me from here should you find it necessary, but
I do wanna make this really very clear: I am not! trying to preach at you
all, nor, am I trying to say that my way is correct, and you all's isn't...
I'm simply offering my personal experience and my personal belief and
opinion...
Take care...
Chris.
