Ben just called, said the doctor came and the skin graft is taking 90
percent, so Ben wanted to know if he could use the walker as he was
doing before to go about ten feet to the bathroom, the doctor had
originally said he would have to stay in the bed for five days. Sunday
would be five days! now he says it will be Monday before he can get up.
This is very upseting to Ben, who all week long thought it would be ok
for him to at least go to the bathroom by himself tomorrow.
I wish I knew what to tell him.
He wants to believe he will be home by Christmas, but he says the doctor
keeps changing what he is saying.
I know it must be frustrating, and I do understand the doctor wanting to
be careful, but it it looks that good, what would it hurt if he used the
walker as long so he did not put weight on the foot.
After all, we are only talking about ten feet at the most.

I will to the hospital later, Ben seems awfully depressed.

This has been a long and hard time for him, maybe it will be over soon.

Thanks for continuing to pray.

Rhonda
