Dear Pat,

Forgive me, I haven't been able to answer your post before now.

I am praying particularly for Vernon's health this year. I know how scarey
it must be for you. Even now, after many years, when I get bad throats and
they linger and I feel I'm sitting on something that doesn't quite come out,
I get a little scared feeling when I recall all those strep throats and
Rheumatic Fever so many times. I always simply have to trust God in it, but
it sends that little chill feeling out!

Pat, I do hope by the time you receive this you can let us know that you
have tied up all the loose ends with Manchester. What's for Thanksgiving
dinner then? What's traditionally over there for Thanksgiving? Since I'm
now sort of one of you, I'd like to do the same so suggestions and recipes
please, all! (Off list if you like or I'll get my best friends very mad!)
<Chuckle>

Love to you, especially Pat, and be assured I'm praying about your anxiety.
So many people are anxious these days. Sure, the Lord has words for us. We
need to take them again and again and trust Him.

Carol
