I don't know anything about the 570, but the 480 has a receiver that is
almost as hot as the 870.  The tuner seems to tune in a broader range than
it is rated, I can load a 200 foot center fed on 6 meters with it.
The audio is very adjustable, and really sounds good on A M.  The dsp has
two levels, and the duel noise blankers are adjustable.  It has a button
that automatically filters out a carrier on ssb receive.  On cw, the same
button automatically zero beats you on the other station.

I haven't figured out how to make it run FM repeaters yet.  The computer
stuff is far beyond mme or the second computer that I don't have.
