for AM radio stations you hit the enter, then 0  then point which is the *
key on a phone pad, then the 550 or what ever, if you're like 1030, then
it's 1 point 030, hope that makes sense,  as you read through the manual and
get the hang of the radio you'll get it. Note, entering frequencies like
147.195, or 447.975 you enter the hole frequency, all digits, I don't know
if you have to hit the point or not, but I always do.
