I remember when they had that year round daylight saving time.  During the
winter, it remained dark until 8:30 in the morning.  This meant that
children had to either walk to school, or wait for the school bus in the
dark.  When i was a kid, I liked it in the summer because our parents would
let us play outside in the evening.
