YEs, sometimes when there's not a section net that serves your area
the region nets will be glad to have you as an outlet for those
locations in your area that they can't get to with section nets.

IF you're thinking your CW skills aren't up to snuff don't forget the
phone region nets for your part of the world.  I think you'd be first
region net, and if you're interested I could look in my ascii file
1995 net directory for times and freqs for you.
