Matthew,

If you have the cable and software, you have everything you need. When you
bring up the program, you'll see a list of all the memories starting with
Memory 0. The arrow keys will scroll you up and down through the list,
which is how you get to the memory you want to program. The Tab key moves
you from the list of memories to the list of menu items, which are grouped
in an order that doesn't quite correspond to the numbers in the menu on the
radio. Again, the up and down arrows will scroll you through the
list. When you find an item you want (either a memory or a menu item),
press Enter to open a dialog box containing edit boxes and list boxes where
you can change the things you want to change. Use Tab to move from one
field to the next, and press Enter when you reach the OK button if you want
to save the changes, or the Close button if you want to cancel the
operation. Unlike the standard Windows dialogs, you can't use Shift-Tab to
move backwards, so you just have to keep tabbing until you're done. Good luck.

Steve
